Student Visa
1 Year ED (Student) Visa
All students whom enroll at our school are fully eligible to apply for a one year non-immigrant ED visa. This visa enrolls students to remain within Thailand for one year. This functions by initially permitting students to remain in Thailand for 90 days, at which point our school will provide you with the paperwork to extend your stay by a further 90 days, which is then repeated until the conclusion of your studies. This enables students to enjoy learning Thai and Thai culture without having to worry about making trips to the immigration office.
How Much Does it Cost?
School fee: 24.960 Baht (promotional discount price)
Extensions: 1,900 Baht every 90 days (governmental charges)
How Many Lessons?
180 lessons
How Often Do I Have to Come to School?
We require at least four lessons per week. Students can either have two lessons twice each week, or take four lessons on the same day.
How Long Do I Have to Wait for the Visa?
You must first apply for a letter from the Thai Ministry of Education to request a one year visa. This process takes between three and five weeks. After you receive this letter, you will need to visit a Thai consulate, where you will receive a one-year, non-immigrant ED visa. With this visa in hand, you will need to return to the school where we will walk you through the process of applying for a second letter from the MOE - which certifies your enrollment - and allows you to make 90 day extensions for the duration of your studies.
How Many Years Can I Study Thai at Your School?
Using the same ED visa, you are eligible to study for up to three years at our school. However, each year you will need a new letter from the Ministry of Education, and these letters take six weeks to process. This letter will allow you to not leave Thailand in order to obtain a new ED visa.
Do You Guarantee That I Will Receive a One-Year Non-Immigrant ED Visa?
Yes. As we apply for these visas on a regular basis, we have a great deal of experience working with the system. Further, our school is recognized by the Thai Ministry of Education in that it provides education to international students, as well as for promoting the Thai language and culture. For those hopefully students not in Thailand, we can ship all paperwork to your country. Please contact us for more information.
Can All Nationalities Apply to Study at Your School and Receive the ED Visa?
All nationalities are welcome, and the Ministry of Education does not make a distinction of students from any nations. Students from all nations are encouraged and welcome to study at our school.
Which Nationalities Have to Apply for the ED Visa in Their Countries?
India, China, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Iran, and Middle Eastern countries
